Kate Beckinsale

Kathrin Romany Beckinsale (born 26 July 1973)[1][2][3 is an English model and actress from England. After some minor television roles, her debut film was Much Ado About Nothing (1993) while she was a student at the University of Oxford. Beckinsale appeared in British costume dramas , such as Prince of Jutland (1994), Cold Comfort Farm (1995), Emma (1996), Shooting Fish (1997) (a contemporary romantic crime drama) and The Golden Bowl (2000) as well as various stage and radio productions. In the latter part of the 1990s, Beckinsale began film work in the United States. After appearing in smaller-scale dramas The Last Days of Disco (1998) and Brokedown Palace (1999), Beckinsale played in Pearl Harbor (2001), Serendipity (2001) and Tiptoes (2003). After her roles in The Aviator (2004) & Click (2006) in which she starred as herself. These films made Beckinsale a prominent actor in Hollywood. She also starred in Click (2006) as well as The Aviator (2004). She is still appearing in lesser dramatic films such as Snow Angels (2007), Nothing but the Truth (2008) and Everybody's Fine (2009). Her work received favorable reviews for her performance in the first two films. The year 2016 brought praise from critics. She won the Critics' Choice Movie Awards for the best actress in a comedy for Love & Friendship. Jolt (1921) was her first film that brought her back to action-film. She also starred with Jolt (2021), The Widow (1919) and Guilty Party (2021).
