Anne Marie Tiernon's career began in 1989 when she joined WMBD 31 Peoria. Later, in 1991 she went to Indianapolis. There she reported on the CBS-affiliated WISH-TV newscasts at 11PM, and co-anchored its 5:30 PM broadcast along with Scott Swan. From 2000 to 2004, Tiernon was a news anchor at WLWT-TV in Cincinnati Ohio as the anchor of the 5-6 and the 11 p.m. newscasts alongside the veteran anchor Dave Wagner. Tiernon has been an Emmy winning journalist. She was involved in both major and smaller report. She won the National Headliner Award in Medical/Science reporting for her medical report. Tiernon is the daughter of Fort Wayne Indiana native and is married to marketing executive Terry Tiernon. Felicia is set to start her Channel 13 work shift in the latter part of January along with Scott Swan and Anne Marie Tiernon. She's a part of the National Association of Black Journalists.
