Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th, 1996) was born in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor was a former Banker. Jennifer Marina Joy worked as a Psychotherapist. His father is an Argentine with Scottish as well as English ancestry. She is Spanish with English roots. Taylor Joy has four siblings. One of them is from each of her parents' prior marriages. They resided at Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy reached the age of six, later moving to Victoria district in London. Taylor-Joy says that moving to London was traumatic and that she didn't take the time to learn English so that she could avoid returning to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school when she changed schools from Northlands. She later enrolled at Queen's Gate School where she trained in ballet and appeared in school productions. She quit high school when she was 16 in order to focus on her acting profession. Taylor-Joy always wished to work as an actor. As a teenager, Sarah Doukas Founder of Storm Management gave her the opportunity to model.
